The hotel furnishings give subtle hints of a time when Zurich was a successful trading center for exclusive fabrics. Thus, each of the 5 floors tells the artfully staged story of relations with France, Spain, Asia, India and the United Kingdom, which had its heyday in the 19th century.

Each room captivates with a detail, whether it's a view of the Opera House or Lake Zurich, a bay window or a pretty balcony. The furnishings play with colors from nature, the exclusive furniture is individually designed and manufactured in manufactories: a stylish combination of past and present, with custom-made furniture and lamps, marble table and warm parquet floors.

In addition, you can look forward to slate-colored, fine bedding, puffy pfulms and fabrics. After a soothing rain shower, a classy box spring bed beckons, transporting you straight to cloud nine and letting you sleep soundly.

The rooms on the 6th floor are mansard-style with sloping ceilings and lower ceiling heights. This gives them a cozy, romantic and homey ambiance. From the dormer windows the guests have a great view over the roofs of Zurich.
