Bringing history to life.
Today, the first wall panels are being painstakingly installed in the SILK Lounge & Bar of the Ambassador Hotel. The hand-drawn and digitally milled leaves depict the mulberry tree and its leaves that is the preferred resting place for the silk moth as it forms its cocoon around itself. These cocoons provide the raw material for natural silk, which is still one of the most valuable and finest textiles today.

Our Boulevard Terrace pays homage to Paris. Anyone who has ever been there knows every café and bar there has tables and chairs set out in front for guests. At the heart of urban life is not just a desire to watch people, to watch the world go by; it’s a very special lifestyle that has an air of casualness about it, as well as an elegant sophistication. It’s our hardworking craftsmen who are currently the only ones allowed on our rooftop terrace THE VIEW to give it a brand new sparkle. But the view itself needs no embellishment. It is and always will be spectacular, whichever way you look, whether it’s towards the Opera House, or out across Lake Zurich or towards the sunset over the rooftops of Zurich. Get ready for your perfect sundowner in spring 2023.
